About the product

Our product is a white-niche marketing platform designed to help companies with creating job advertising campaigns and managing traffic. Right now, it's in the MVP stage—a great chance to join a small startup team (CTO, 3 Developers, and Product Owner), and have a real impact on its development 🚀

Product's technical stack: Python 3.11+, FastAPI, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes; TypeScript, React; Digital Ocean.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Test new features and ensure high-quality releases;
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools;
  • Write and maintain test documentation, test cases, and reports;
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testing strategies;
  • Build and enhance our automation framework for API and functional testing;
  • Build QA processes from scratch, as you'll be the first QA Engineer on the team.

Must-have skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Operating Systems (OS) and Networking (OSI model, TCP/IP Stack, DNS);
  • Understanding of Testing Theory, test design techniques, and methodologies;
  • Hands-on experience with Databases and SQL;
  • Knowledge of REST, HTTP, and JSON;
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured);
  • Familiarity and desire to work with automation testing.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing;
  • Familiarity with Test Automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
